Candidate Data Usage & Privacy Policy

Last updated 27 September 2026

This policy details how candidate profiles, contact details, work experience, and location preferences are stored, processed, matched with live employer requirements, and protected under DPDP Act 2023.

Candidates registered on jobchahiyeindia explicitly choose whether their profile is discoverable to verified hiring employers. Profile consent is managed directly within the candidate mobile app and website portal, and consent timestamps are recorded for legal auditability.

2. Candidate Profile Data Collected

We collect candidate full name, phone number, work experience level, preferred job category (e.g. Delivery Partner, Picker/Packer, Warehouse staff), location hierarchy (pincode, city, state), key skills, languages spoken, and salary expectations.

3. Candidate Matching Engine & Visibility

Our automated matching engine computes compatibility between candidate location/skills and employer hiring requests. Employer searches present aggregated match counts and anonymized skills summary before data unlocking. Candidate full phone numbers and personal emails remain hidden until unlocked by a verified employer.

4. Data Unlocking & Contact Sharing

When an employer purchases a Candidate Data Plan (e.g. 500, 1,000, or 2,000 records) or Single Unlock, contact information is transferred strictly for the specific hiring job post. Unlocked records are logged in the employer dashboard.

5. Rules for Employers Accessing Data

Employers receiving candidate data are strictly bound to contact candidates solely for genuine job offers. Any unsolicited marketing, cold calling for third-party products, or sharing candidate lists with unauthorized entities will lead to permanent platform ban and legal prosecution.

6. Candidate Opt-Out & Deletion Rights

Candidates may withdraw discovery consent or request permanent deletion of their account and personal data at any time via the app settings or by visiting Account Deletion Request.
