These terms apply to the jobchahiyeindia website, employer portal and candidate app operated by Job Chahiye India Pvt Ltd. By using them you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
For candidates
- The app is free for candidates. Never pay anyone who asks for money for a job in our name — report it from the Support tab.
- Give accurate details. Our team may call you to verify them. We do not guarantee a job.
- When you apply to a job, that company receives your name, phone number, email, profile and resume.
- “Let employers find me” is optional. While it is on, companies with a live job that fits you can pay to unlock your contact details; they cannot browse or search profiles.
For employers
You can hire in three ways: post a live job that candidates apply to, unlock matching candidates for one of your live jobs, or ask our team to find candidates for you. You must be authorised to hire for the company you register.
Payments
- Each live job post and each candidate unlock is paid for separately, at the price shown before you pay (plus GST). There are no credits or subscriptions. A GST invoice is issued for every payment.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay. What you buy belongs to your company account and cannot be transferred.
- Refunds follow our refund and cancellation policy.
Live job posts
- Posts must describe a real, lawful job with accurate pay, location and duties. Do not charge candidates any fee.
- Posts from companies we have not verified are checked before they go live; if we do not approve one, its payment is refunded.
- We may take down a post that breaks these terms or misleads candidates, without a refund.
- A post stays live for the period you paid for and can be renewed with a new payment.
Candidate data
- Use candidates' details (from applications, unlocks or our shortlists) only to contact them about jobs at your company.
- Do not sell, share, publish or pass on candidate details, and do not use them for marketing unrelated to hiring.
- Keep the details secure and delete them when you no longer need them for hiring. You are responsible for how your company handles them under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
- An unlock gives your company permanent access to that candidate's details as they were at the time; there is a daily limit on unlocks.
- We log every unlock and may pause a company's access or close its account for misuse, without a refund.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, share false information, scrape or copy data in bulk, or try to access other accounts. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
